Over the past twenty years Voices has developed partner relationships with nine Salvadoran Communities:

• Ciudad Segundo Montes, Morazan

• Comunidad Octavio Ortiz, Usulutan

• Ciudad Romero, Usulutan

• Nueva Esperanza, Usulutan

• Salinas el Potrero, Usulutan

• La Catorce de Abril, Usulutan

• Angela Montaño, Usulutan

• Amando Lopez, Usulutan

• San Francisco Gotera, Morazán

Though our relationship with each of these communities is different, Voices began working with most of them as they were being established by former refugees or ex-combatants resettling after the civil war of the 1980s. The type of support and partnership we provide varies according to the needs and priorities of the individual communities.

In addition to these community relationships, Voices also has strong relationships with many domestic and foreign organizations working in Morazán or the Lower Lempa. Current examples of such relationships include:

• ACUDESBAL (Association of United Communities for the Economic and Social Development of the Lower Lempa Jiquilisco – United Communities)

• ASPS (Salvadoran Association of Public Health)

• MEBLE (Regional Youth Organization in the Lower Lempa of Usulutan)
