The partner relationships between these communities and their Salvadoran counterparts are important for two reasons. First, the U.S. partners provide Salvadoran communities with much needed support that enables their development. Second, the exchange between the U.S. and Salvadoran communities facilitates a free-flow of ideas concerning development, while allowing U.S. partners to better understand the realities in underdeveloped communities in El Salvador, as well as how U.S. foreign policy affects their development.
These partner relationships are the reason Voices has been able to accomplish all that we have.
If you are interested in developing a partner relationship with a community in El Salvador, please contact Thomas R. Hughes at voices@votb.org or 202-529-2912.
