At the end of February 2008, Hands Across Borders from Erie, PA and the Physical Therapy Department of Gannon University led their third delegation to El Salvador.
During their two week stay, delegates traveled and worked with PT students from the National University of El Salvador. After spending a few days in San Salvador, the Salvadoran and U.S. students traveled to Morazán to learn more of Salvadoran history and culture. The delegation then traveled to the Lower Lempa where they held a PT clinic, provided local health promoters training, and learned about environmental and social justice issues in the region.
